To share

I enjoy leathercraft and go to workshops to learn new techniques. The horse and rose were taught by the late Rob Barr when staying in QLD.

They took one day for the rose and two days for the horse.

The frog picture was completed at a two day workshop with Peter Main at Epping NSW

Back on track

Today recorded a success again at weigh time.
The extra walk last week must have worked as I lost 1.4 kgs and am now just 0.2kg away from the half way to goal mark.
My mini goal was to be 83kg at this 15 week weigh in. I am so happy that all the hard work has brought this goal so close.
Last week I rewarded myself with a spring pass to encourage me to keep learning ways to change my environment. This way the old habits of comfort eating will be replaced with healthier choices.
I intend to walk for 30-40 minutes three times this coming week.

missing the mark

This week is continuing to trouble me.
After needing a lift home on Wednesday I have only managed two 30 minute walks in my lunch breaks and some cleaning on Saturday.
My chronic back pain is preventing me from doing many things this week.
It is also the reason I woke at 5.30am today.
This week I have to accept that my mobility is limited.
Otherwise I will push too hard and have difficulty walking next week also.

It is nearly 1100hrs. I have returned from my walk and feel much better for doing so.
All the endorphins are lifting my mood.

To leave on a positive note I will walk three times next week.

mark my journey

I joined weight watchers for the 3rd time 14 weeks ago.
This
is a very positive act and am happy to say that the motivation has been high and the weight has been falling off at a regular rate.
To my
surprise I have been able to exercise for thirty minutes 3 times a week and stay on the points system.
Plans are if a plateau cannot be broken then the no count will be followed for two weeks to break the cycle.

This blog diary was suggested by a fellow weight watcher on the community message board.
Takes others with good ideas to remind me to use tools I am already aware of.

start weight: 95.1 current weight: 84.7 loss: 10.4

My meeting is held on Tuesday morning and this week I gained 0.5kg. I had difficulty in a party situation and ate for comefort. Realizing what was happening I stopped but over compensated and under ate for two days throwing my metabolic rate out.

Yesterday my walk lasted 35 minutes but back pain prevented me from walking home.

This blog is part of the plan to take care of myself. This combined with WW community message boards will give me tools to set boundaries.
